This project is also finally COMPLETE! After eight months of hard work, I finally get to see the finished product. And furthermore, it's already gotten into a festival! It will be shown on Channel 28 in Alameda, half of Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, and possibly some other nearby areas, for the Horror TV Film Fest.

It looks pretty amazing, we got some great sound design and music composition done for it pretty last-minute to make the deadline for the fest. A couple nights ago, I was alone in my room recording myself chanting several times in different voices. I then layered my voices over one another and it made for some pretty creepy group chanting. The project is in black and white, and has a film filter on it to make it look like an old 8mm film, though we did shoot it digitally.

It took a lot of time, but I was able to make the heart red against all black-and-white, which wasn't easy, since there was so much red in every shot. The robes were red, and there was a fire which cast a red light over the whole set! It was a challenge, but well worth the effort.

The final film will be posted here within the next day or two, and will also be on the home page of our site: www.TheFilmCult.com. Or, if you're in the area, check it out on Halloween night, Channel 28!

Thanks,

Sky
