Well, it's decided. I'm moving back to San Francisco! Looking for a place in North Beach area, probably a studio or one bedroom. But here's the kicker... moving in with my boyfriend! ((Dun dun DUNNN)) Never lived with a boyfriend before, though I don't have any doubts, and am sure it will be wonderful and an interesting learning experience. Even my parents are in support of the idea.

I've recently quit nannying, and am trying to transition into full-time freelance film work. I'm not worried, I'm able to live on freelance, though finding the work is more time-consuming than the work itself.

Finally back in school, now that the Fall semester has started. I'm taking Cinematography, Film History 2, and Art History 2. I'm enjoying all of them, though the film-related classes are obviously the favorites. I get to do two 16mm film projects for cinematography, which is great wonderful and intimidating at the same time. As much as I appreciate the idea of working with actual film, it terrifies me! I don't like not knowing how the footage looks until after it gets processed. I suppose the digital method of shooting and immediately replaying is too simple to be truly artistic, hehe. For my first project, I'm thinking a short film noir piece, since we're working with black and white film.

More details soon,

Sky
